Saxophones: SEATED: Ardis Harper, Tom Frampton, Cheryl Costello, Carolyn Mabery, Sherry Smith, Carol Ritter, Karen Galagher. STANDING: Sarah Hallock, Jim Hibbard, Ron Hicks, Judy McDowell, Nina Mitchell, Linda Fox, Susan Harper. The high stepping North Branch Bronco Marching Band had a very successful marching season. Their first appearance was playing at the Imlay City in August 1963. They played at all the football games; the highlight of the season was the annual lights-out show. The marching band performed for the Memorial Day Parade and on June 6 in Flint for the installation of Mr. LeRoy Mclnally as the State Commander of the Masons. The concert band had its most successful season in the past seven years. Many awards were won. In solo ensemble, fifteen out of sixteen events won awards. Linda Fox and Sherry Smith participated in the State Solo Ensemble Festival. Sherry received a first rating and Linda a second. Clarinets: SEATED: Wanda Sutherland, Bonnie Fike, Made- lyn Sanborn, Olive Ford, Georgia Sch- midtke, Charles Curell. STAND- ING: Mary Butter- field, Suzanne Gra- ham, Jane Haack, Gerry Seih, Rose- mary Wilder, Carol Stevens, Ruth Miles, Shirley Smith.
