HIGHLIGHTS OF HOMECOMING. N.B.H.S. students were very proud of their Queen and her reigning court. The six lovely girls chosen to reign with Queen Pamela Minkstein were (at the right of Queen Pam) visiting Queen Barbara Mott of Imlay City H.S., Peggi Mitchell, Gloria Misener, (to the left of Queen Pam) Joanne Bruman, Lynn Dice, and Brenda Ross. The girls reigned triumphantly at the dance held after the game and Queen Pamela held her position as North Branch Queen at all school functions both at home and away during the balance of the 1963-64 year. Again may we add our congratulations, girls, for a fine representation of our school.

HOMECOMING PARADE The Faculty float A winning Team was a new entry in the Homecoming Parade, the largest ever in N.B.H.'s history. The Freshmen, winning 3rd prize, called their float Blast off to Victory. September twenty-eighth was an exciting day as our annual Homecoming Parade, sponsored by the National Honor Society, took final form. The Sophomore float Whale Em' won first prize. The huge whale was one of the 23 entries. Floats in the parade were entered by many town businesses and active high school clubs. The Senior float Expectin' Victory (above) won second prize. It depicted a huge stork in a cradle. The Junior class paid homage to the Seniors with their float A Salute to the Seniors.
