'60 Was Election Year In the annual Mock Election the class of '61 chose the following celebrities: For the Most Studious we picked Tom Barnes and Pat Olesky. The best dancers could be none other than Roger Taylor and Karen Martell. Just ask any teacher who the class sleepers are and you hear the names shouted Dave Bates and Sandy Hyde. We found the most courteous to be Les Frampton and Judy Hiltz. For their wonderful performance in the Senior Play, Larry Gormley and Mary Jane Monroe were picked as best actor and actress. And for always looking at the grumpy side of things Clark Smoke and Annette Nellenbach were chosen class pessimists. (Not really.)

Our cutest couple had to be Ed Baker and Janet Schmidtke. For being great lovers John Clothier and Diane Torr could well take the place of Rock Hudson and Liz Taylor in the movies. In every class there is always teacher’s pet and ours is no exception they are Ron Ward and Diane Torr. There was no disputing over who would get shortest and tallest: Tom Gormley and Terri Farkas. Tom Barnes possibly because of the long orations he gave to the class during his four years as class president, and Donna Haupt because of her fine work on the debate team were chosen as our class orators. And last but not least the two that are forever giggling, Eddie Link and Karen Martel. We would like to say that this was all in fun and not necessarily true. for John Kennedy and N.B. Seniors
