To dedicate this annual, the staff looked for a person who stood for high ideals, who was outstanding as an educator, teacher, and friend, and had accomplished a record which any student would be proud to have. Many students think of Clark Chandler as a person that they would like to pattern their lives after be- cause of the success that he has achieved. We, the staff of the 1962 Tiger, dedicate this book to Clark Chandler, Mr Education, former teacher, coach, and friend. This page has been set aside in memory of Kenneth Gordon and Larry Vaughn, two former classmates and friends who shared many of our twelve years of education. 2 ROW I. There will be a summer supplement which will include the pictures of the prom, gradua- tion, spring sports, etc. Due to various reasons, many of the staff couldn't work when they were needed. Of all those who did put forth extra efforts, Sandy Kercher, left, and Angela Clark, right, de- serve a special bit of thanks. Without their efforts, things would have been quite slow. Karen Merrill, Susan Spitler, Sandy Boggs, Carter Wood, Janet Ruffner, Becky Lloyd, Dorothy Heilman, Shirley Bils, Ruth Bishop, and Ruth Kelly also deserve credit.
