The faster you go, the more chance there is of stumbling but the more chance you have of getting some- where. Therefore, we wish to dedicate this annual to the progress of our school and community. ADMINISTRATION NORTH BALTIMORE BOARD OF EDUCATION, Left to Right: Delmont Brown, Dr. Edwin Lloyd, Allen Bech- tel, clerk, Powers Luse, Mr. Harris, superintendent, and Dr. C. B. Nyce. Mr. Smith was absent when this pic- ture was taken. Mr. Richard Harris, our executive head, is in his second year at North Baltimore. During these two years, Mr. Harris has shown outstanding leadership. He has a BS Degree from Ohio State University and a MA in Education from Toledo University. 5 Mr. Meari R. Atkins came to North Baltimore three years ago from Carey High School. He took the position of high school principal executing disciplinary duties keep keeping records, distributing grade cards, and acts as official repre- sentative of the school on various occasions. Mr. Atkins received his BA degree from Fairmont College and his ME degree from Bowling Green State University. Miss Clara Miller has been ele- mentary principal for eleven years and a popular figure far longer. She directs the administration of the elementary school, is chief test ad- ministrator and formerly taught geography. Beginning her career as an elementary teacher, Miss Mil- ler subsequently spent eight years teaching English and Ohio History. She received her BS degree in ele- mentary education from BGSU and a degree in remedial reading from Chicago University. Completing her seventh year as office secretary is Mrs. CHARLES LLOYD. Her seemingly endless duties consist of balancing school records, caring for correspondence and finances, issuing supplies to teachers, administering first aid, and taking over classes in emergencies. 6 MRS.
