Physical Education Staffed by excellent instructors and equipped with the very finest facilities, North Babylon High has certainly made the sort of physical fitness advocated by President Kennedy possi- ble for all of its students. Boasting both a fine interscholastic and varied intramural program, this school provides some form of mental re- freshment and physical development for every student. Home Economics If girls in home economics classes learn how to keep from sticking themselves when they are pinning up a hem, they also learn how to keep from getting stuck when they arelchoosing a dress or a hairstyle or a range or a rug or a roast. Chances are that the young men these damsels marry won't feel stuck either, since they'll be acquiring partners with domestic ex- perience and skill. In short these courses are designed not only to teach a girl all that is required to become a good wife and mother, but they assist her to become an assured, well-groomed lady as well. MRS. All students enjoy our well- stocked library, the excellent performances, of the band and choir, the services of the school nurse, and many other facilities rendered possible by the other people in this category. Included in this general area is Dr. Jack Wanger, who this year introduced a course in Psychology.
