Handicapped by the loss of graduates, this years' girls' softball team did not bat their way to victory in interscholastic games. The records show four losses and one win. Nevertheless useful team coop- eration on the field and individual batting skill developed, and a successful Honor Team was pro- duced. At Playday competition, the N.B. Honor Team earned third place. Spirit and determination were f exhibited by all. The girls beat West Babylon and x Lindenhurst, but they lost to South Huntington. 4 However, a winninv son f r C, sea o next year has been 3 promised by the team.
