The team won five games, lost five and tied one. The tie against Brentwood was accom- plished when the Booters with thirty seconds of the last quarter left to play scored a two point goal. Such seniors as Jones, Frantzen and La Rose were supported by juniors of great potential such as Middleton, Cassidy, Montgomery, Dyrland, Cos- tello, Bonasera and Wolf. The sophomores also played a big part in making the season the success that it was. Ronnie Suga earned a position on the First String All-Scholastic team. Mike Weiner was the team's top scorer with ten points. Hans Roesch was elected to the All-Scholastic Second String as were J im Montgomery and Bob Dyrland. The J.V. season ended with five wins, seven losses and one tie. Despite the season's record, the number of points scored against North Babylon was sur- prisingly small. This can be credited to Tony Deluca whose expert guarding of the goal chalked up four shut outs for N.B.g others like Shanks, Rizzo and Thompson also proved to be very capable players.

For the past six years the North Babylon Harriers have been under the expert coaching of Mr. Frank Manhardt. The years he has spent in developing the Harriers proved to be a worth- while endeavor which made the '62 season a tribute to their perseverance and ability. On November 2nd the Hill and Dalers brought its first major sport county championship to North Babylon capturing the Class A Championship by taking four out of the first five places. Mr. F.
