Education MRS. ROWENA SPADER MR. EDWIN GROSS Composed of a group of very dedicated people, this Board of Education has done much to aid students, teachers, and the entire North Babylon community. The members have striven so that our rapidly expanding schools could remain on full session, when in most other growing communities on Long Island this has become an impossibility. They have provided for our teachers working conditions which are pleasant and satisfying and have thereby gained for us the recognition and respect of other school systems. To community development, the Board of Education has added an excellent educational system and modern, attractive school buildings. Above all, the Board of Education has always received our problems graciously and worked along with us in solving them prudently. For these, and other actions too numerous to mention, we, the Class of 1963, wish especially to thank the Board of Education. E . ! BOARD MEMBERS: L-R, Standing: Mr. Stewart Jonsson, Mr. John Powers, Mr. William DeLuca, Mr. Peter Brennan, Mr. Donald Long, L-R, Seated: Mrs. Margaret Heidinger, Mr. Edwin Gross, Mr. August Cinocchio, Mrs. Rowena Spader, Mr. Anthony Maffetone Jr.
