Versatile enough to slip with prac- M ticed ease from Beethoven to Basie, the X band has been brought to this peak of musicianship by Mr. Hamor, band di- rector for the past two years. The band has also been fortunate in having such distinguished musicians as Robert Quin- tero, trombonist, and Lorraine Michels, saxophonist, both of whom were selected to participate in the All-Eastern Or- chestra, a truly worthy achievement.
