Foreword The words of an Alma Mater should be an almost ineffable expression of truth and honor and knowledge and unity and growth. An Alma Mater should typify the atmosphere of a school, with a scope and depth and intensity that would be unattainable in prose. In so portraying the inner spirit of a high school, an Alma Mater reveals the widely divergent and yet harmonizing personalities of the students and the faculty. Therefore we, in The Blazer of 1963, have endeavored to show the inti- mate and intricate relationship existing between the Alma Mater and our environment as we know it. W The Greenway Apartments exemplify the modern housing being built in our community. One of the neat, attractive streets in our locality. P The Belmont Lake School, our newest Junior High, is in its first year of operation. The Parliament Place School is the latest addition to the elementary part of our school system. The Sunrise Federal Savings Bank is typical of the many fine new businesses in our area.
