Sh! a respectful silence falls on us as we tiptoe by. If we wore hats they would be removed. As it is, the heads of humble lower classmen are bowed in submissive reverence before those Seniorsf, We see them standing in groups, laughing and chatting gaily, carelessly eating. qOh, to be able to eat when and how one pleases.j With bated breath we try to peep into the small room, holy and dear to the heart of every Senior. We see between discreetly curtained windows a table or two, a cretonne-covered couch, and soft, home- like pillows. How cozy, how quiet! we breathe. just then we look up, hushed in silence: a Senior looks balefully at us, reminding us that we are lower classmen, the despised of mankind.
