THE BEST DAYS UF With you, dear North Augusta, Our hearts will ever stay. For though we go our different ways, Our thoughts will never stray. From fun we've had, joys we've shared Triumphs and heartaches too, Though we're leaving North Augusta, Our love remains with you. When as bewildered freshmen, We needed someone as a guide, Our beloved teachers Helped us to decide The right from wrong, the false from true, And always to do our part, lt was they who helped us realize They had our interests at heart, Our sophomore and our junior years Held much enjoyment too. The friendships made within your walls We'll keep dear in our hearts. And with tear-filled eyes we'll silently say We'll miss you when we part. As we sing the Alma Mater, And in song our voices blend, ln our hearts we'll all be hoping, That we shall meet again. Yes, there were many trying moments, ln spite of work combined with play.
