OUR SUPERINTENDENT Our superintendent, Mr. Paul Knox, was born in Abbeville County, South Carolina, September 9, I90I. After he 'Finished from Wofford Fitting School, he entered Wo'Fford College and was graduated in l922. He received his M.A. degree from the University of South Carolina, doing further graduate work at Peabody College. Mr. Knox taught in western Nebraska and several places in South Carolina before coming to North Augusta in i926 as high school principal and coach. He was made Superin- tendent of the North Augusta Schools in I928. Mr. Knox is a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, charter member of the North Augusta Lion's Club, a Mason, member of the Board of Stewards of Grace Methodist Church, holds a life membership in the South Carolina Congress of Parents and Teachers Association. His 'Favorite study is science and favorite pastime is gardening and golf. Mr. Knox's home is graced by his wife, who is very capable and always charming. He thinks the rearing of his three daugh- ters is fun and VERY interesting. Our superintendent is capable, forms his opinions on well-based conclusions, and works constant- ly for the advancement of the school. Truly he is a man of great ability.
