SUPERINTENDENT The parade of progress Is Inevitable. Graduation marks another significant mile- stone in your too swift race toward adult- hood. Remember always that with the ap- proach of maturity, increased privileges are inexorably accompanied by Increased re- sponsibilities. Be aware of the difference between liberty and license, as progress can be painful as well as pleasurable. Re- member, too, the quotation from Hamlet that states, There ' s a divinity that Shapes our ends. Rough-hew them how we will. Good luck to the Class of 1 968! VINCENT B. McGEE ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT RICHARD W. BLAZO

PRINCIPAL Our schools have been concerned pri- marily with the education of Individuals for life in homes, communities, states, and the United States. Today conditions are different. The word community can no longer be used exclu- sively to refer to a small geographical area. Today the world is our community and the two and a half billion men, women, and children on our globe are neighbors. We must live together In peace or perish. Education is the chief means for creating a better world founded upon peace, free- dom, justice and better living standards for the entire family. I only hope that your years of schooling have prepared you for the problems each of you will have to face and that you will find success and happiness in whatever careers you choose. ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL WILLIAM L. KELLY
