CAUTION Mothers and children were driven from their innocent play at Drummond playground on Sunday, September 27 at 1:00, when N.A. seniors invaded the territory in order to carry on an important tradition. Donned in red and black, the spirited class of 1988 showed no in¬ hibitions about saying “cheese.”

LETHALLY LATE You’re running a little late in the morning but think you can make it if you hurry. You save your make-up to put on in first period and skip breakfast — again. It’s 7:30 and you’re turning onto Osgood street, pass the police sta¬ tion, go one more block and OH LORD, there it is, you’ve heard about it, it’s happened to your friends, and NOW, it’s happening to YOU — about three- hundred cars and fifty buses are also trying to get into school — Great! You curse “those stupid speed bumps until 7:35 when you finally make into the driveway. Of course there are no parking spaces left and to aggravate you more, someone has taken up two spaces with his car. You fly over to the forbidden teacher’s parking lot and sprint across campus hoping to make it to homeroom — good luck! You hear the morning announcements as you run through the corridors. With ten seconds left in homeroom, you burst in and breathlessly plead your case with your homeroom teacher. She’s in a bad mood this morning too, and doesn’t feel like changing her attendance slip again, so you go down to the office, sign in, get a pass for first period and wait to be called down for your hearing. Because of the new tardiness rules, you know the afternoon will be spent in detention, and again you curse “those stupid speed bumps” for making you late — again!
