Led by Co-Captains Paul Willis and John McDermott, the team finished the season strongly by winning their last six games. The Co- Captains, along with defensive end Fred Oakes, re¬ ceived the distinction of being named to the All- League team. With the largest number of returning lettermen in recent years, next year’s team should be in a strong position for capturing the Cape Ann League title. Once again the Knights qualified for the State Tournament but lost to Chelsea in the first round. The local wrestlers set a new state dual meet record by finish¬ ing the season with 60 straight victories. In addi¬ tion, the team won the Cape Ann League Champi¬ onship, the State Division II Championship and the New England Team Championship. The Knights have a number of returning lettermen and expect to make a strong showing in the league.
