The National Honor Society is an organiza- tion which recognizes and honors students who demonstrate outstanding leadership, scholarshi character and service in school and in the local community. This year the members contributed money to Children's Hospital and the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation. Many of the activities which made this year so memorable were sponsored by either the Junior or Senior Class Councils. Under the direction of Mr. Cook and Mr. Sagan, the senior class council mem- bers helped construct the senior Homecoming float, planned the senior prom, the banquet, and played a large part in organizing commencement exercises. The Junior Class Council, under the guidance of Miss Vargo and Mr. Williamson, organized theJunior Prom, prepared and served the meal for the dinner- theater program of Music Man, and helped con- struct the junior float for Homecoming, which vvon first place this year. .......L ll -Q. , ,,,..
