During the first semester. Al Sharp edited the paperQ with Elaine Kerr as assistant editor. John Eid. assisted by Jane Maranuk, led the staff during the second half of the year. The first semester page editors were Christy Larsen, first page, Janet Douds, sec- ond page, Susie Reuter, third page, and Kirsti Lobinger, fourth page. The second semester, Carol Nlarino edited page one, Margie Porter, page two. Frank Morra, page three, and Janice Hamley, page four.

Townsend The Usherettes are chosen at the end of their Junior year on the basis of their grades and a vote by the teachers. They usher for the first time at graduation and serve at all the social functions during their Senior year. The Usherettes perform a valuable service to North Allegheny and are one of the prettiest service groups in the school. The Thespian Club. under the direction of Mrs. Smith, gives interested students an opportunity to broaden their knowledge in all branches of dramatics.
