Thursday. Nov. 16. The teachers gave a program. Friday. Nov. 18. A spelling contest between the Junior High and Senior High was held at N A H S. Saturday. Nov. 18. Many men had a narrow escape at the barber shop. Theldon Lamb was acting as assistant barber. Sunday. Nov. 19. Chick Lockwood started a garage which was noted for midnight services. His helpers were Lucile Carpenter and Berneice Doty. Monday. Nov. 20. The Boy's Basket Ball team was started. Tuesday. Nov. 22. Some of the pupils paid their 810.00 for the dam- age which was done during the fight for the Flags.,' Thursday. Nov. 23. A program was given by the Senior Class show- ing the Senior girls at a sewing circle of 1950. Friday. Nov. 24. The High School boys went to Horton to play Foot Ball. Our boys were beaten. Saturday. Nov. 25. The first Reading Circle was held at. N A H S building. Reports on t.he book were given by members of the Review class. Thursday. Nov. 30. Florence Haskel decided to stay at home and take care of Tommy. Wednesday. Dec. 3. Poor little Dick Barger received a serious bump when his chair broke away from him and he banged his box of knowledge on the wall. Tuesday. Dec. 12. Nlr. Young announccd his plan of having four classes in thc afternoon. viz. 8th History. Wednesday. Dec. 20. The honorable Freshie girls created a new vogue. i. e.. they began to wear crepe paper hair ribbons. Thursday. Dec. 21. Mr. Lamb marched the boys to the coal bin and gave them a lesson in handeling snow shovels. Friday. Dec. 22. Betty's Dilemma. an operetta was given at. Knowles opera house. Monday.
