F.F.A. GETS IT TOGETHER! This has been another successful year for the Norte Vista Agricultural Department. The Novi Future Farmers of America have attended many fun-filled learning activities, ranging from showing their livestock projects at fairs, to competing in Public speaking contests and parlimentary procedure contests. Other activities attended were, the Best Informed Delegate Contest, the Loma Linda Field Day at LaSierra, a roasted pork dinner for parents and teachers, raising animals on the school farm, studying plants and working in the school greenhouse, a snow trip, they sent a delegate to the National Convention in Kansas City, Missouri, and a banquet in May for the Outstanding F.F.A. Student of the Month. To get an animal, you may obtain a loan from the bank. Many students make over seven hundred dollars on their projects. If you like fun and being a winner, you should consider joining the Norte Vista F.F.A. next year. Freshmen participants in Loma Linda Field Day. Officers: L to R: K. Leatherman (Sentinal), T. YEARBOOK - IS UP TO PAR This year we sent Linda del Rosario one of our Co- Editors to San Diego for a yearbook wortcshop. She stayed one week, when she returned she brought back many new ideas. The yearbook staff also came up with alot more originality. The cover was a new idea featuring the noted indian actor Iron Eyes Cody. Many of us know him as the symbol for Keep America Beautiful. We also added four pages of color which is the most color in yearbook history. We also feel that the first sixteen pages contained many new techniques and original student poetry. We ' re very proud that this years advertising did more than their share. They not only met last years quota they exceeded it by more than 700 dollars, bringing the total to $2570.00. We were also able to do more things and take clubs to new places. This year yearbook sponsored an annual Sadi-Hawkins dance. We feel we ' ve done our very best. Copy Editors: Amy La Fleur, Dale Aimer. Yearbook Co-Editors: Left to Right; Annette del Rosario, (back) Linda del Rosario. Advisor Harold Kopper.
