WORK EXPERIENCE— A DIFFERENT KIND OF CLASS Advisor-Mr. Baross Work Experience— a class for all who are in- terested in working. Mr. Baross, the coordina- tor of this program welcomes any student who would liKe to explore a particular job and receive credit for this, or receive credit for already having a job. Suggestions on how to find and to keep jobs are only two of the many benefits a student receives from this program. Students do not meet on a daily basis but do have lessons and requirements assigned to them. Local employers like to hire students en- rolled in the program due to the training the students receive and feel these students are more adapt to enter the working world. Em- ployers also contribute suggestions for the betterment of the program. Work Experience is a way to better yourself for the near future. Kris displays his favorite toy. F.F.A. GETS IT TOGETHER! This has been another successful year for the Norte Vista Agricultural Department. The Novi Future Farmers of America have attended many fun-filled learning activities, ranging from showing their livestock projects at fairs, to competing in Public speaking contests and parlimentary procedure contests. Other activities attended were, the Best Informed Delegate Contest, the Loma Linda Field Day at LaSierra, a roasted pork dinner for parents and teachers, raising animals on the school farm, studying plants and working in the school greenhouse, a snow trip, they sent a delegate to the National Convention in Kansas City, Missouri, and a banquet in May for the Outstanding F.F.A. Student of the Month. To get an animal, you may obtain a loan from the bank. Many students make over seven hundred dollars on their projects.
