J.V S HAVE COMPETITIVE YEAR This year ' s J.V. squad had five members. The members were Laurie Allen, Sheryl Baldwin, Lisa Baxter, Pat Di- yorio, and Brenda Taylor. Even with such a small squad, they always participated and worked for perfection. They showed lots of spirit and pride in their routines. This year they participated in many competitions includ- ing Arroyo, in which they went into the finals and took fifth. City, Saddleback, Miss Drill Team U.S.A., and State. The squad did a terrific job in supporting the J.V. Basket- ball teams. Two members at- tended Hibbard ' s Camp and brought back a second place trophy. They also held car washes and candy sales to raise money. They participat- ed in all Pep Rallies and did a great job representing Novi. 32

FLAG ADDS A TOUCH OF CLASS The Flag squad this year was a very busy squad. It was made up of six members: Theresa McDill, Shelley Andursak, Donna Ramirez, Eva Beaty, Veronica Ramirez, and Linda Gragg. They worked hard and it showed in their routines and at competition. They entered such competitions as City, Arroyo, Sad- dleback, and State. They also marched with the band in football halftime shows, parades, and band reviews. They added a touch of class to the band. The squad par- ticipated in all pep rallies and backed the football and basketball teams. They were a terrific squad and represented Novi well. BRAVE ON THE WAR-PATH The mascot for the ' 77- ' 7 school year is Donna Morris. She is a Junior. Donna represented Norte Vista at City Competition. She enjoyed her year as mascot and hopes to be on pep squad next year. Donna did a terrific job as the Brave mascot.
