PARADE AND PICNIC RUN SMOOTHLY This year ' s parade was one of the best ever. It took place at a different time, 6:00 p.m., and place, from Shamel Park to Wheelock Field. The floats were very impressive. Seniors grabbed first with Striken It Rich which consisted of approximately 8001 flowers in a variety of colors. Juniors took a close second with their float, Burn Em Braves . They feel this is their best production yet because of life-size figures. Sophomores rolled into third with their crea- tion, Soph Saloon . MECHA, the first club ever to enter the float competition, took fourth with, Old Mexico , a typical colorful Mexican patio. Last but not least are the Freshmen cruzin ' in fifth with Scalp Em Braves . The day was highlighted by the crowning of Annette del Rosario as our Homecoming Queen. The four princesses are Traci Lawson, Carrie Beaubien, Lisa St. George, and Cheryl Pittman. Novi ' s victory over Apple Valley made the day complete.
