FROSH CREATIVITY FLOWS The Lonely Sea The lonely sea, how sad she cries. The sailors look of her weeping eyes. Her wails they hear, As she sleeps in fear. Forever more a lonely woman Who ' s tears are now only heard In the Poet ' s word. -Kim Melancon The Traveler The wind blows over the mountains And the wind blows through the Trees. And the wind tells stories of The world. So listen to the Breeze. It tells of flowers blooming And it tells about the gold In the sky. It tells of burning desert sands And of oceans dancing off The shore. It tells of mountains standing Proud And of mountains long before The wind has gone many places And has many still to go. So if you ever wonder- Just listen. I ' m sure the wind will know. -Howard Herbert Smiles As we walk down the hall and look around We see all sorts of people saying hello. Some of them are happy, some of them are sad Some are angry, some of them are glad. By some of their smiles it looks like They never have any problems. But by some of the others, it ' s like They ' re carrying the world on their shoulders. Some seem really glad to see you But others, it may only be a face Some don ' t even know you ' re there.
