OUR TOWN VISITS OUR TOWN This year the Drama Club has once again showed us their talent with their many new members. Their first play of the year was Our Town, which was put on in January. Everyone in the play worked hard on it to make it the success it was. . Later in the year they put on a play called a Thousand Clowns. This play also came over well. They went to Universal Studios to learn more about the theatrical world. They were involved in the March of Dimes, Haunted House, and won second place in the Christmas Assembly last December. Both plays were directed by Ms. jan O ' Brien, the advisor of the club. Shawn during one of her peaceful moments. Shawn and Robert display their extraordinary talent. Robert putting flowers on his beloved Emily ' s grave. 98

NOVI ART GUILD TURNS PURPLE This year the Art Guild has adopted Captain Pur- ple as their mascot. He originated from the Planet Panpurpular and landed on Novi ' s campus. This year with the help of Captain Purple the Art Guild strived to raise money for the Art Department and a field trip to Universal Studios and other cul- turally interesting places. This year has been one of the most successful for the Art Guild. Maria taking her presidency a little to far.
