IN Although, havingbeen ateacher for more than forty years, she was still interested in her work, and had love, understanding, and mutual respect for each child en- trusted in her care. She believed that if all children were given more praise and understanding they would grow up with a more sufficient feeling of security and self-adequacy because to her teaching was a continual work to be done by kindness, by watching, by warning, by precept and by praise, but above all, by example. Standing firmly for what she thought was right, she radiated happiness where ever she went. This teacher who was adored by her family, loved and res- pected by all her students, her friends, and her neighbors was an inspiration to all them. e 6

We extend a challenge to you to always look ahead, take only the best in life and be a sincere friend to mankind.
