CLASS OFFICERS Left to right: Kay Underwood, Vice-President: Judy Harlow, Secretary: Sandra Applegate, Treasurer: Ronald Haddock, President SENIOR CLASS HISTORY In S e pte mbe r 1954 fifty-six unsure and rather timid freshmen entered N.C.H. S. We elected our four class officers: President, Ronald Haddock: Vice-President, Kay Underwood: S e c r e ta r y , Pat Coffee, and T r e a s u r e r , Barbara Mcllroy. We had thr e e basketball players and a cheerleader. During that year we were truly green. We started our sophomore year with good intentions. We again elect- ed four capable officers: President, Ronald H a d d o c k g Vice-President, Larry DeJarnettg Secretary, Betty Kinsall: Treasurer, Allen Gerdes. Again we were well represented on the basketball te am and in cheer- leading. lnthat year we were intro- duced to serious work-projects to earn money for a senior trip. Our big project was to purchase twenty- five seats to rent to people at ball games. This was a good investment and we bought more seats. We provedall sophomores are !l0t Silly- During our junior year we provedwe Could be jolly juniors. We enjoyed everything. We elected a fine group of officers: President, Ronald Haddock: Vice-President, Ike Preston, Secretary, Trella Pearce: T re a sur e r, Kay Underwood. We were well represented again in athletics and activities. The pro- jects increased and we finished a happy year. Entering into our senior year, we seem to be more grown up and serious. We elected very efficient officers: President, Ronald Had- dock: Vice-President, Kay Under- wood: Secretary, Judy Harlow g Treasurer, Sandra Applegate. A- gain we are well represented in all activities. We have continued our projects and added many more. We are thinking s e riou sly about vo- cations for now we are sophisti- cated seniors.
