Dynamic Leader The students and residents of Norman are thankful for the Board of Education that rep- resents the Norman school system. The Board meets the first Monday of each month with the Superintendent of schools, Mr. J. Don Garrison. The Board is composed of business and professional men who give their time to sec that Norman has the finest facilities for all schools. Mr. Lester M. Reed will assume responsi- bilities of Superintendent upon the retirement of Mr. Garrison next year. Besides teachers, the administration of NHS includes our principal, vice-principal, counselors, office staff, and custodians. The counselors help students plan a study program which is beneficial to them and also furnish information about college scholarships available to NHS students. The office staff checks on absentees and does all clerical work necessary to keep a school as large as NHS operating efficiently. When one of our custodians is absent, we quickly realize the important part these devoted workers play in keeping NHS beautiful. 10
