Trail Of Memories . . . and the ‘sisty-uglcrs’ arc off to the ball.” The si. graces, who arc our cheerleaders, clown around at the Ardmore jiop assembly. “They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Here is the picture, so make up your own thousand words.” Subjects for this indescrib- able masterpiece are Tim Payne, David Overstreet, YVicky Burrow, Jimmy Stewart, and Butch Milan. This year Norman High School reached high goals and made many wonderful memories for every student. Whether you were just begin- ning your years at Norman High, looking back over one year and forward to the next, or making your last journey through the home of the Tigers; this section will recall for you that won- derful year 1962-63. The first all school party, the Howdy Hop, left all concerned with a new feeling of com- patibility. The Speech II play, “The Man Who Came to Dinner,” was deemed a success by all who saw it. The Tiger Twistin’ Twenties Party and the Junior Surprise Party were fun for everyone. The Holidays were celebrated by assemblies, a dress-up day, and an exceptional Christmas Dance. Semester finals came while everyone wondered in amazement how the first semester had gone so fast. The All-Sports Queen and All-School Queen coronations were the most beautiful ever. “The Music Man,” the all school musical, was expertly done as was the Senior Class Play. “Now-or-Ncver” Week was only one of manv Student Council sponsored activities during the year. It gave all girls a “I’m gonna get on my pony ami ride . . .” Cherry Kay Griffith and Quentin Rcmy “rock it out at the Howdy Hop.
