Clubs Take Time Faculty members are indirectly responsible for all the extracurricular activities at the school. Most students realize that if it were not for the teachers who are willing to give of their time and energy to sponsor the various school organizations, N.H.S would be made up of all cake and no frost- ing. Among the most active organizations and clubs are found Student Council and Library Club sponsored by Mrs. Mosley, the Trail and Tiger Tales sponsored by Mr. Lowe, the Gingersnaps sponsored by Mrs. Walker and Miss Pevehouse, the Band sponsored by Mr. Robinson, and the Choruses sponsored by Mr. Earsom. From Ginger- snaps, with 200 members, to the smallest of the clubs, the problems are similar and the rewards are great for both members and sponsors. Space alone prohibits a complete listing, for every group has its own important place in N.H.S. Frosty, man, frosty! Physical Education Running, jumping, throwing, and fall- ing! All students in Norman High have the opportunity to participate in a physi- cal education program designed to build healthy bodies and good sportsmanship.
