e . —senior CL ClSS In the fall of 1950 the graduates of '54 started their high school career. As the year progressed the freshmen learned the ways and rules of the school. In the spring the Freshmen-Sophomore picnic was held with the Sophs taking the honors. As sophomores, they took part in various activities: football, basketball, choir, band and cheerleading. Finally they became upper class-men. The hare and hound race started the year's activities with the victory going to the Seniors. The Junior class play, Our Hearts Were Young and Gay, proved to be a great success. Next on the agenda was the Junior-Senior Prom. Much time and planning was put forth on the Prom, whose theme was Sunken Paradise. The last year began with the Senior hares winning the annual hare and hound race. In the spring they presented the class play, held sneak day and field day. The Juniors gave us a superb prom which will long be remembered. On May 20th the graduates of '54 marched proudly up to receive their diplomas. Whether it be sports, activities, or school work the class of '54 always put everything into it. Roy Christians led the seniors first and second semesters with Don Goos as vice president; Janet Carson, treasurer, and Norma Bossard, secretary.
