Looking over the freshmen and their past year, outstanding debaters are among the group. Many members were active in the glee club choir and orchestra. Others were C ! They dirln't win every game in football and basketball, but there are several who should have a great future in these sports. Yes, 1949-50 has developed a fine class of freshmen and the 183 members loom as pace setters at Norfolk lligh in future years. The skit, based on the story Little Red Rid- ing Hood, kept the student body in an up- roar throughout the performance. Then of course, there were newcomers in school thought our pep rallies were 'pepper alleysg' and don't forget the freshman who hopefully put down 'vacuum cleaner' for a 36 collective noun. All of these added to the success of the class. This was the second year for Norfolk High to boast a Student Council and the freshman representatives were Janet llarry and Gordon Johnson.
