Yes, there are times when students are summoned to the principal's office by special in- vitation. Sometimes it's for a telephone call or to do some extra job, but more frequently a special invitation is for some- thing a bit more serious. It could be given because of mis- conduct, failing grades, or a lack of cooperation. Regardless of why anyone is invited, the dif- ficulty is soon ironed out by Mr. Skillstad or Mr. Cerner. Mr. Skillstad, principal, acl- vises, helps and encourages from dawn to dark. llis tasks are many and varied. Every high school student knows and appre- ciates him.
