Although the Future Nursesis Club of Norfolk Catholic has only been in existence since the beginning of the second semester. they have had enough field trips and parties to complete a full year. One of the most outstanding field trips taken by these future nurses was to Louise Obici Memorial Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia. They were taken on a tour through the hospital which has been in operation only since 1951. After the tour they inspected the Student Nurses's Home. That same weekend, the Cranby High Future Nursesls Club held a party at the DePaul Nurses,s Home. Catholic High's Nurses-to-be all had a grand time and particularly enjoyed the movie. The main purpose of this club is to prepare girls who are entering the nursing profession in the near future.
