The very core of Catholic High is religion. With intellectual and physical growth is interwoven the Catholic attitude toward life. This is what makes Catholic High different, and which in turn, will make its students singular. In these formative years, Christian doctrines are embedded in the minds of Christ's childreng they are taught to offer their thoughts, words, and deeds to their Creator. This is the mold for ideal men and women! This year has been a very special one for Catholics the world over. The Marian Year, beginning December 3, 1953, and extending until December 8, 1954, has become the axis in the wheel of the Church year. I n all classes of religion, Catholic High students are being shown the role they may play in this, Mary's year. As career men and women for Cod, they may carry on the encounter of the Church against the pressing needs of the times. lt is only through the true and solid devotion of the faithful to Mary, Mother of Cod, that she can help them change their way of living and to think more of Almighty Cod. 1 M 'avi 9.
