How quickly this year has flown by! And Catholic High's seniors have become aware of this fact only too well. They find it hard to believe that their high school career has come to an end. When May bowed out and Iune's days danced by like little sprites, they realized it would be impossible to recapture those precious days that just a few weeks before seemed too numerous. Reminiscing a little bit, I can recall the first time the seniors practiced walking to Pomp and Circumstancef' Although they had memorized this tune and the correct way to walk, it seemed that a million times over could not be enough. Then the Junior-Senior Prom was at hand. Hardly was the Prom over when came those last days of scanning the books for exams. Many times I overheard my seniors remark, Exams, already. Baccalaureate Mass . . . and the long-awaited night arrived. The air seemed to be electrified, not with summer heat but with excite- ment. The strains of the March penetrated through- out the auditorium and my seniors walked that last mile. Nervously and anxiously they received their diplomas, then they said farewell. Over, it was all over - everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Yes, Seniors, it was finished but you are just be- ginning to learn. Learn well, and above all be true to Cod and country, and be true to Cathollb High.
