fKfl e44 Mtirlt aAi U VUit Richard and Eric Crouch make a sandwhich of John at Annabelle ' s Restaurant in Virginia Beach. The Grand Canyon sets the scene for Sills O ' Keefe. Ah, the joy of summer. Three glo- rious months of leisure and relax- ation where surf, sand and enjoy- ment abound, as do Norfolk Academy students. Some of the N. A. jet set flew as far as France, England, and Spain on the Academy trip supervised by Mrs. Hume and Mrs. Brinkley, while others traveled to many exotic ports. Many of us stayed home and enjoyed the glory of the U. S. Local distractions included surfing trips, backpack- ing in the mountains, and sittin ' on the beach. Others shot the rapids or enjoyed fishing and crabbing. What a way to start the memorable 88-89 school year in our album of life. We look back to the summer, the times with our friends, the work we did, the places we went, and the people we met. The album may close on another year, but the memories of the summer of ' 88 will stay with us forever. Addie Onsanit spent the summer explor- ing the mountains of Switzerland. John Bamey and Shane Shapiro flex be- fore going down the waterslide.
