Capture the flag! Foxy-loxy! Combat! Arts and Crafts! Tee-Ball! Sound like fun? You betcha! ACADEMY DAY CAMP! Six fun-filled weeks with fif- teen staffers and five hundred cam- pers. The oldest summer activity on the NA campus, camp begins at 9:00 each morning as six yellow busses release their restless captives to the care of the camp staff. The average day includes assemblies, snack time, crafts, and swimming lessons for Tadpoles, Minnows, Sharks, and Dol- phins. Then -finally - lunch! Coun- selors rush to mooch sandwiches, chips and Twinkies from unsuspect- ing but generous six-year-olds. After lunch, it's time for the Clean Table contest and movies. The day still holds two more activity periods, free swim, and Bus Lineup. Ah yes, Day Camp- a Norfolk Academy tradition, one that will, as Simon says, hold fond memories for one and all. I i NA Day Camp provides fun and frolic for Campers Q 3 and Staff Left: John Condon goes back to camp with his small but active charges. Below: Under the supervi- sion of counselor Lisa Fraim, campers enjoy free swim. rr U.--41 .gn ' 'Qi' - I x: 4 J . .M i : -ig IZ: 13
