u x- L if J , 1945, film yitrijfma gf 'D G i ORIZONS 1980 Late one evening, after thelast bus had rolled out onto Wesleyan Drive, a few enterprising students were delving intolAcademy archives when an interesting object caught their attention. Hidden insidelan oldl box was a tattered leather volume decorated withi strange pictures and some form of ancient writing. Curiosity, a basic ingredient of all Bulldogs, prompted these students to probe further into this mysterious treasure. After carefully examining the book, the students began to understand the meaning of the strange drawings on theicover and the cryptic verses inside. What they had uncovered was a previously unknown version of the- ancient Chinese zodiac. In addition to the standard years of the dog, pig, and tiger, there appeared a thirteenth astrological animal, the alligator. After reading the pages devoted to the 'gator, the students realized that there were certain similarities between thisizodiac group and students at the Academy.
