Showing drive and enthusiasm, the Ranger track team this year won their share of honors in the various track meets which they attended and sponsored. Although possibly not having the personnel that Nordhoff track teams have had in past years, the Rangers, nevertheless, made up for it in spirit and determination. The CH team this year boasted one of the best squads in many seasons and showed great promise of becoming a great asset to the varsity in a few years. Boasting one of the largest squads in years, the j.V.'s this season showed great promise of becoming one of Nordhoff's better baseball teams in a few years. Coached by Herb Smith, the Ranger j.V.'s showed a lot of spirit and willingness to play, one quality which characterizes all Norclhoff junior varsity teams. Nordhoff fans should hear a lot from these boys in years to come.

With four returning lettermen the Nordhoff tennis team this season made quite a name for itself around the league. Under the able coaching of Mr. Townley, a newcomer to the coaching ranks at Nordhoff, the Rangers did all right in regular league matches, but had to take a back seat to Thacher's Cowboys at the league tournament held at Thacher on May 16-17. Besides the four returning lettermen, the team was boosted by a large number of first-year competitors, some of which turned out to be a real asset to the team. This year's team boasted one of the largest the Rangers have ever had, and with these plus quite a few prospects coming up from the junior high, tennis should go a long ways at Nordhoff in the next few years towards bringing home a championship trophy for the trophy case.
