Led by Mr. Roller, they have presented vari- ous assemblies to the school, held several parties and gone on a num- ber of field trips. Elected by A.S.B. Presi- dent, Larry Schriber, at the beginning of the year to help him govern Nordhoff, these six people did a splendid job. They are, Dick Perry, Ath- letics, Bob Quimby, Elec- tions, Carol Chrisman, Ral- lies, Barbara Decker, Wel- fare, Beverly Whiting, Fi- nance, Mary Lou Decker, Ac- tivities, and Marsha Swanson, Publicity. S With the start of each school year all the separate classes elect officers to lead them in the coming years. From these and many other organizations come the make-up of Student Council. The Student Council governs the school by making and passing laws and new rules. We thank them for all the work they have done this year to better Nordhoff.

14416645 The Art Club is the newest club at Nordhoff. Formed this year by Mr. Akins it has nearly 70 members. It was formed to promote more student interest in art. The club has enjoyed many field trips, one to the Santa Barbara Museum and Mission, and then to the Los Angeles Cinerama . They also had several par- ties, one at Rancho Cola, and a chicken bar-be-que.
