Semin Memories, Memories, the memories will never die. After four years packed with fun, studies, and activities, the Seniors come to the final step, Rush Week-Rush Week, with no work . . . just a week of memories never to be forgotten, and the most important goodbyes to high school life and hello to the future. The Commencement Formal begins the last week of fun given in honor of the de- parting Seniors. This dance will be to some the last dance they will ever attend at Nord- hoff, so all of the Seniors attend in great style. Baccalaureate Services, held in the Auditorium, brings the Seniors, parents and friends together in worship and reverence. Ditch Day! Papa Drewes and Mr. Taylor lead the way in the day of fun-packed Legal Ditching to some exciting place. The juniors always look forward to taking over the Senior Lawn, which has been protected up to this point. juniors come forth with their goodbyes by giving the Seniors a Bar-Be-Que, which as always, was a bang-up affair. With everyone enjoying good food and good entertainment afterwards. Class Day brings the Seniors back to school to give their thanks for the friends and fun they have had, not to mention the fine teaching that was given to them. Oh! yes, the Seniors have some talent, too. june 16, 1955, Commencement Exercises on the football field brings us the final achievement of Rush Week, but a start in the future for the Seniors. We see the seventy Seniors, young men and women proud to be members of the Graduating Class of 1955, of Nordhoff Union High School, and thankful for the privileges they have had and the opportunity to begin their future together. The annual Class Party was held after the Exercises and all of the Seniors and their Dates attended. And so we say goodbye to the Seniors who are starting their life, and we hope they cherish the memories of their school years and the fun they had in Rush Week.
