Dear Seniors, Class of 1955: By the time this message appears in print you will all have taken my Sociology class. This means that you know pretty well my philosophy of life, so I am left without much to say in this message. Most of you have spent four or more years at Nordhoff, during which time you have come in contact with a variety of students and faculty members. From these people you have received ideas, which in addition to your own, should give you a reasonable foundation for becoming a respon- sible working member of your community. I urge you, wherever you may be, to live up to your potentialities. Take part in community activities, join serv- ice clubs, and offer your services to youth organizations so that young people will be better for having come in contact with you. Be a positive force in your community -not a passive or negative one. If you do this you will be a real asset to your community, and the Nordhoff Union High School may well be proud of you.
