Next came the Hallo- we'en Dance, an informal dance sponsored by the Seniors, and which was a very good dance. For a small group of hard-working Senior actors the main event of the year was the Senior Play Little Women. This well-known story of Louisa May Alcott's was done very well and was heartily received by an admiring public. The most outstanding Senior athletes this last year were john Ball, Ralph Rich, Outstanding Football Player of 1949,,' Del Loban, Harold Bangs, john Dawn, Larry Shaw, Harry Hunt, Dick Fegenbush, and Allen Sullivan. In the Spring there was held a swimming party which was enjoyed very much by the Seniors attending it and they all proved that even after a long winter's rest they weren't out of practice. Then came that never-to-be-forgotten end of the Senior year. Those wonderful hec- tic days. From the day after graduation all we have left of Nordhoff are memories.
