Probably the largest organization at Norcross, the Marching Band, was also one of the most active. Through the year there were three different bands in all as well as three aspects of a color guard. During football season the Blue Devil Marching Band performed at all football games and competed in three contests. Under the direction of Mr. Snyder, the Band of Blue was rated excellent. . Miss Norcross was held in the spring and fall of 1981. The spring winner was Ienny Wiley. Her Reign lasted until November, when Iaynie Poteet was crowned Miss Norcross.
