The Norcross math team was formed to promote interest and enthusiasm about math. The team represented Norcross in county, state, and regional competitions. Ms. Ramsey and Mrs. Harvey worked hard with both the varsity and junior varsity squads to improve their mathematical ability. Mu Alpha Theta was formed in 1980 to honor the outstanding math students at Norcross. 1 - Mu Alpha Theta members. The Photography Club was one of Norcross' newest organizations. The Photographers learned the uses of cameras and gained experience in this art. Mr. Allen was the sponsor, Members of the chess club started their organization to give themselves the chance to learn and tone their skills in the strategic game of chess. Mr. Westfall sponsored the club. 1 - Sarah Walters discusses plans for the next meeting with the rest of the club, 2 - Vicki Usher listens to another club member talk about a new camera attachment for their camera they purchased. 3 Y The Chess Club, Seated - Robert Tatum, Steve Cohen.
