The Art club was for those students that were interested in visual arts. Many of the students that were in this organization were serious about their work. lust walking into the art room was evidence that these students had talent. On the walls were murals, paintings and sketches, while the room was filled with sculptures and crafts. The students and sponsor, Mr. McVay, were responsible for much of the art around the school. They did some of the art work for the Spectrarama and the drama department. The Norcross math team was formed to promote interest and enthusiasm about math. The team represented Norcross in county, state, and regional competitions. Ms. Ramsey and Mrs. Harvey worked hard with both the varsity and junior varsity squads to improve their mathematical ability. Mu Alpha Theta was formed in 1980 to honor the outstanding math students at Norcross. 1 - Mu Alpha Theta members.
