The classes ottered include on your own , stitchery, interiors, clothing, budgeting, child care and development, family rela- tions, foods and nutrition, and survival. In on your own one learns the problems of married life and having children (eggs). Children are brought in so the students can learn from first hand experience how to care, comfort, treat and love them. The classes help to prepare students for life outside of high school. FOREIGN LANGUAGE Our world is getting smaller every day and the need to communicate with people of other countries is vital to our country ' s well being. The Norco High foreign lan- guage department offers classes in two useful lan- guages. Mr. Hiestand, who lived and taught in France, teaches French. Ivlr. Taylor, a new teacher at NHS, teaches Spanish. Students also learn the history and culture of France, Spain, Mexico and Central America through many activities and projects throughout the year.
