Tracy Holada. Michelle Greer, Dan Jarvie and Terrie Means, DRIVERS ' EDUCATION Norco High has a very good Drivers ' Education pro- gram. Students are taught the rules of the road and much more. The students learn about insurance policies and how to drive a car. They experience first hand driving in student driving cars. As for the instructor and students in the back seat it can be a hair-raising way to spend an afternoon. They also learn how drugs can be dangerous, especially when mixed with driving. BUSINESS The business department of Norco High is designed to help stu- dents discover secretarial and busi- ness world skills and attitudes that will help them in the future. Students are taught job skills such as office work, accounting, computer data processing, and typing, and also good work habits, self discipline and dependability. This department is just another example of how Norco High prepares students for a suc- cessful future. Mrs Hane is always pleased to be of assistance. While studying works such as Macbeth and Paradise Lost, students are taught to relate these stories to their own lives. Many students will be heard to groan at the mention of the names Twain, Camus and Hawthorne, but everyone knows how important it is that these authors be read. It the Norco English department has taught students anything, it is how to recognize symbolism when they see it. Norco High English classes teach students to communicate clearly and effectively.
